Code of Conduct
For Members


In becoming a member of the Henrietta Knight Racing Club, we respectfully request that you follow a members’ code of conduct. This is a special club that champions the true passion and spirit of the Sport of Kings so let’s all enjoy the spectacle and celebrate some wonderful days out together while making memories to last a lifetime.

Anyone that breaches of this code will be reported to the management of the racing club and this may result in the offending member being suspended or removed from the club. Members are therefore requested to communicate any breaches of this code of conduct to the Management team. Misconduct will be handled quickly and formally. Serious, or repeated breaches will result in exclusion from the club.

Standards of General Conduct

All Members should :

  1. Show respect for other members of the Club.
  2. Treat the rights, dignity and worth of every person as equal, within the context of the club, regardless of gender, race, religion, age or sexual orientation.
  3. Respect our passion and spirit for racing, by promoting inclusion and encouragement of people who are new to the sport.
  4. Always remember to promote the sport positively, never use abusive language, bullying, harassment, discrimination or physical violence, or conduct considered as unethical.
  5. Be responsible for your own behaviour all members are to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and conduct.
  6. Ensure all issues or concerns of a safeguarding nature are referred to the management of Henrietta Knight Racing Club.
  7. Promote the good reputation of the club and remember its patron and never behave or condone others to behave in a way that brings the club into disrepute.

On-line Code of Conduct

All online communications made by members through Henrietta Knight Racing Club should not:

  1. Bring the sport, club or its members into disrepute
    • This includes inappropriate comments about individuals, the club, or other organisations. Never post links or images without permission or rights to the actual media agreed.
    • Support your fellow members online – like, follow and support their promotion of the club and do the same.
  2. Breach confidentiality
    • Never divulge confidential information about an individual or the club
    • Revealing information will be considered a breach of the code the conduct.
  3. Do anything that could be considered discrimination or bullying or harassment
    • Making offensive or derogatory comments relating to gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age;
    • Posting images that are discriminatory or offensive.
  4. No comment should ever be made about an individual or subject that:
    • Exposes someone to inappropriate comments or defamation that affects their own life.
  5. Speak on behalf of the club without permission or approval to do so.
